Of course they'll catch up. It's funny that TDK and Iron Man came out in the same year, 2008, and here we are 10 years later. Watchmen was 2009.
Ragnarok is genius. If you can't laugh at a TV Show with Jeff Goldblum making out with purple space tentacles then comedy ain't your thing.
So you see that Dark Knight and watchman were pre- cinematic universe? That was the game changer that DC never saw coming and will never come back from. There is no competition in the cinema anymore. Quality is irrelevant. They won't catch up because they can't. They'd be better of focusing all their energy on tv and ther media outlets to make up the money. Let marvel burn itself out at the cinema and be there to pick up the pieces once the bubble bursts. Because when the bubble does burst years from now, Marvel will be F'D as they've put all their eggs into one basket.
To each their own pal. Ragnarok is trash imo and it's comedy elements are about as funny as getting an arrow through the neck only to discover there's a gass bill attached to it.
They'll never recover but be there to pick up the pieces?
Ok mate.
Here you go watch this.
GENIUS

Your endorsement of Thor: Hunt for the Asgardian People is a complete forfeit of your credibility when it comes to discussing films. Hand in your badge and gun pls

I never said they wouldn't recover.

Yeah of course studios only exist to make money and therefore loads of money made = success but success doesn't mean said film is actually any good at all. I mean you only have to look at the most bought books in the world to see that they don't even approach the best things ever written. Most of them don't even approach the top 1000 books ever written. Same for films. You could argue that that is why many studios make movies, but it certainly shouldn't be, or isn't for lots of smaller/indy movie makers. Either way success/money made != quality.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Thor die in Infinity War Part II and potentially have a female take over as has happened in the comic books. Takes the story away from Asgard for one and also Chris Hemsworth's contract is up after Part II.Finally got to watch it. Absolutely loved it. Never thought I'd see Spiderman die while basically crying like a little girl in a movie, that takes balls from the director/Marvel imo (even though he'll probably get revived). Only death that really bothers me though is Loki. Can't see how they can continue the Thor Universe now with basically everyone except Thor himself dead. Loki was one of my favorite Marvel characters dammit. I loved the Thor - Rabbit connection tho, funny stuff. I'll give the film a 9/10, quite possibly the second or third best Marvel film yet. The first Avengers film is still number one.
