let us know what its like. My missus wants us to go but im not that arsed. If its any good though i suppose i'll have to take her

Great flick. Indie battling the Ruskies now instead of the jerrys. Maybe a little out there at the very end. But a great cast and excellent plot makes it not skip a beat after twenty or so years. Discovery Channel has a good intro on the Crystal Skulls for a good foundation. You can't beat Lucas and Spielberg together. A great watch.

Still Ironman is hard to beat so far this summer.

Good call, but I think Indy wins on points. Its the familiarity of the characters, the way its shot and the new v old that I think has it for me. Its funny how a movie like Indy is like an old friend you havent seen for ages. I loved it, and thats two very good movies Ive seen in a row now.

Hollywood are picking up their game finally.

Agreed with Mike. I thought it was cracking (y) But then again, the first three Indy films are right up there with my all time faves so I was always going to like it!

If you enjoyed the originals you'll love it, Harrison Ford is brilliant, but also some nice supporting roles from the likes of Ray Winstone and John Hurt. Even Lincolnshire's very own Jim Broadbent has a smallish part

Yes the ending is a bit far fetched, but hey, it's Indian Jones! Brilliant film imo, by far the best I've seen this year so far.

The next Batmans out soon though - so i think that'll over take it :P

I havnt seen it yet, im going to in a couple of days though...should be good

*POSSIBLE SPOILERS*

i have to disagree about the indy review (although ironman was great).

i thought it was tired. he is way too old at 65 to be playing that role. the jokes were off and did not hit the mark. the explanation of how sinking sand works is an example.

the whole indy meets close encounters ruined the movie for me. it was too long and i never really believed the ray winstone character.

a solid 2 out of 5.

Going back to Welts comment earlier. John Hurt did a superb job in his role.

I can see Teppic were your coming from but to tie things up and move on they did a good job. I see Harrison Ford being more like Connery in the third Indie one and LaBoeuf running with the lead for the future don't you?

I won't be bothering because at 65, Harrison Ford seems a tad old to be Indiana Jones. Sometimes less really is more (look at Fawlty Towers) In saying that, the other three films were really, really good entertainment. I especially thought the double act between Ford and Connery was well done.

Nebbs, as I said before, if you enjoyed the first three, you'll enjoy this one.

I, like most people probably, had doubts whether Ford could still pull it off (so to speak), but he was fantastic. He didn't look 65 at all except for the parts where he didn't have his hat on, revealing his grey bonce! Excellent film imo and I'm hoping to go again cos my Dad wants to see it (y)

I've seen it, but its totally lame

Now there's a constructive comment

Why did you think that?
