Gotta say, this thread made me laugh loudly and cheered me up a lot after a heavy day at work, in the dentists chair and at the hospital (not all at once). [Poor language removed] love your forum and I enjoyed standing with ya at Palarse on Sunday despite the score after watching my team surrender the second half at Peterborough on Saturday.
Your grandkids will love ya mate. Supporting the real football clubs and less plastic & grandiose clubs that the glory hunters flock to is what makes us the proper, special and fiercely loyal fans that we are. Anyone can support the alternatives but what’s the fun in that (I mean aside from “winning” most weeks!).
My youngest son said to me last game of season before lockdown after another home defeat “Dad, nobody at my school likes Millwall…but we are are special aren’t we?” Gave him a hug and told him the truth…..”yes, very - [Poor language removed] em all”. You can’t choose your family and you shouldn’t be free to choose your football club. It’s in ya. Kids live there parents no matter what other people’s parents might have, same with ya footie team. Be proud - it’ll be a day they will never forget ??
