I got to say when it comes to Dublin Ireland, I can say for every 1 Evertonian there is easily thousands of Liverpool fans just based on shirts I see and and my social circle. Same with Man U. Then the popularity drops dramatically but still miles ahead of Everton with Arsenal, Chelsea. I must say though I come across more Evertonians than City fans but give that time. Anytime a derby is on if I am not over there it's only me in the pub as an Evertonian depending on the pub size it's packed to the rafters with the ****e. Occasionally I meet perhaps one Evertonian and we get along like a house on fire in the pub, we act like best mates.

One time for the FA cup semi final I was in a huge pub beside a hotel called The Arc with two huge lounges and two big bars. Must have been 150 or so ****e fans there it was astonishing. I was singing it's a grand old team, whistling z cars, getting on every ones nerves. When Jelavic scored I screamed the place down and one guy ran over and hugged me saying he was an Evertonian just didn't have my balls. When pool eventually beat us (most depressing day ever) the pool fans didn't even give me much stick, I think they where embarrassed to be honest. About being the majority by so much.

I know that was a tangent but I'm just saying internationally we are outnumbered in fan base drastically I don't even think we make 1 percent of the gathering of all Irish pool/united fans and Evertonians. . . . but I wouldn't have it any other way. I have a conversation with any Evertonian we are brothers over here. In essence, I could never punch a fellow Evertonian!

THIS THREAD WAS INSPIRED BY THE 'BIG CLUB' THREAD. I POSTED THIS AS A COMMENT BUT I FIGURED IF I POST IT AS A THREAD IT WOULD GET MORE ATTENTION AND OTHER INTERNATIONAL EVERTONIANS CAN SHARE THEIR LONELY ISLAND STORIES. JUST TO GIVE GRANOLDTEAM PERSPECTIVE FROM TH OTHER SIDE.

You cannot buy an Everton shirt in Dublin, or anything.
Trust me, I've tried.

Shops are swimming with merchandise from all the other top 8 teams. Sickens my hole

Funny, I come from a small town down the country and I've slowly got to realise there are hidden Toffees everywhere, they've just been too embarrassed to stick their necks out.
Hopefully that will change

The Americans and Canadians feel this acutely. Not only have their had the good sense to shun the popular clubs supported by fairweather bells over there but they are often isolated not only a long distance from Everton itself but from another Evertonian. I feel sorry for them. I've met some boss blues in North America by having an Everton logo on something I've worn and they've excitedly stalked me because its a rarity.

I've lived (EVERYWHERE LAD) in some obscure places where I've not seen another blue for the year. I once drove five hours to watch Everton on TV too.

Ah yeah, in my life I have notched up a small group of Everton mates in Dublin. I converted one or two. I have never been afraid I like not being part of the majority. It's so much sweeter on the big game days when we get a result. example: United away this season. That was a day when it was very hard to find a United fan.
