2025/26 Iliman Ndiaye

If he doesn't want to sign an extension, fill your pockets. Apart from Rooney, we've not lost a player that's truly come back to bite our bottom, like Spurs have.
Let's face it: Everton have been crap for 35 years. It was always a long shot we'd have too many of those who helped make us crap come back and give us cause for regret.

Rooney and Lukaku are the only ones I felt we couldn't afford to lose. And there's an argument Lukaku peaked with us...

And while I'm here bashing all and sundry, I have no issue with Ndiaye looking to move elsewhere. That's preciusely what any ambitious player should be looking to do given the happy dissatisfaction of Everton. That said, he's not all that. Promises way more than he delivers and, whether he likes it or not, he was a significant reason why we didn't qualify for Europe.

The key here is to get very good money for him and reinvest wisely.

No? Nah, I doubt our competent professionals are up to that either...

Personally I wouldn't begrudge him agitating for a move this Summer. In a World Cup year and on the back of the AFCON win his stock is likely to be at it's highest and he's coming into the prime years of his career.

He's shown flashes of brilliance this year but it's been a largely underwhelming season imo and he certainly hasn't produced the number of goals or stats that make big clubs sit up and take notice. A cracking player and an absolute joy to watch on his day, but he might need better players around him to really achieve his potential and if we get a good price for him I'd wish him well.

As a footballer, I'm pretty disappointed with him (Rom) but he's had some "good times" since...mainly with Martinez (what a combo).

Everyone has a price, every club bar 2 or 3 are selling clubs. Be sad to see him leave if he does, one of the only players we have who gets you off your seat and that's what its all about. Same people not arsed about him leaving are happy giving Keane contract extensions and that's a worrying fanbase.

Who even is Anthony Scotland? Is he reputable? Just a blah account looking for engagement? Perhaps Moyes’ burner account looking to distract fan attention 😂
Probably absolutely nobody, but that won't stop everyone getting their knickers Ina twist. Its an easy rumour to start too as literally every player in our team would want to leave if the right club came for them.

Exactly. Easier for people to turn on him now so that if he does leave, it won’t hurt as much. Crazy that people believe random accounts like that.

He has ambition, we don’t, simple as. He sees that and goes somewhere else where they match his ambition. I would say we had more ambition under Moshiri than we do right now.

He might have ambition and that’s fantastic.

I get he’s fantastic with the ball at his feet, his dribbling is amazing.

Unfortunately he doesn’t have enough end product. Yes he’s been flogged this season with AFCON and he’s got a World Cup, so there’s no reprieve.

However he doesn’t post good enough numbers that matter - goals and assists. Majority of his goals this season have been penalties. He doesn’t assist at all.

He makes too many bad decisions in the final third.

If he has asked to leave/ or wants to leave, that’s completely fine, the club should allow him and we can find better with the money.

We should never be fearful of loosing players, the recruitment of replacements just has to be right - which presents its own problems.
