2025/26 Iliman Ndiaye

Anything 50m or beyond would be very good money.

Would be sad to see him go as he’s been a breath of fresh air and forever tied to the club’s history, but we can’t look longingly at the likes of Bournemouth, Brentford and Brighton while still being too scared to operate as they do.
We're not in a position to operate like those clubs though. When they sell, they already have the replacement in place. That level of joined-up thinking has evaded Everton for a long time.

Agree that we should sell for a big offer though. He's been great and deserves a bigger stage.

They probably wont get Rogers as Villa are a proper club and wont sell their better players, we're we just bend over

The same Villa who have had to sell for the last few seasons? They were forced to sell Jacob Ramsey and Duran. Rogers will go this summer too. Bar the top few clubs in the world, everyone is a selling club.

If Arsenal or City are in for him I cant see him choosing Utd so if Ndiaye is the backup then I can see them coming for him.

I dont want him sold, but if he's turning down all deals then he has to be sold in the summer or next summer anyway. If we can get a good fee for him this year then take it and reinvest. There are no guarantees what will happen next season.

We've arguably kept hold of some players too long at times in the past. Will be interesting to reflect in 2-3 years time whether we should have sold Branthwaite last year when his value was very high.

Ndiayes value is very high right now so a sale should be considered. Brentford, Bournemouth and Brighton all regularly sell their best players and still improve.

Agree. Selling your top players in itself isnt a lack of ambition. The issue is who the replacements are.

….i don’t think it’s about ‘selling your best players’, it’s more about your best players wanting to leave. If your best players want to leave these days then invariably they leave. That’ll likely be the case with Ndiaye unless somebody offers silly money.

Yep and we shouldn't ever be with an inflated expectation that every player will always naturally want to play for Everton. It's down to Moyes / the Club to give the players reasons to want to stay. Inspiration. Belonging. Collective Belief. Vision.

Needs to sign a 7 year deal on £150k a week.
