Yep. As good as anything offensive wise Chelsea had. We will do very well to hold onto this lad.
Given Dyche has him playing as a second left back most of the time, we’ll get another year out of him partly because he won’t have the numbers his skill set deserves. Put him in an attack minded side with actual space and he’d have a field day.

The bonus is that hes learning how to defend relentlessly which may add a lot of value when hes moved into a 10 position

He is very tenacious and scrappy.

These highlights show some lovely moments. He has a body feint that defenders properly fall for. But we desperately need to place him somewhere on the pitch where these little moments result in goals and assists. Great for the crowd, but needs to be great for the scoreline (this is not on him to solve).

I just wish he would try his jinking runs in the box and win us a few bloody penalties. Cracker little player, but should be scoring goals or giving us pens by rights.
Like the intent but see a slight problem with the idea…..

Under a more attacking manager this will be the case, under dyche his defensive contributions and work rate are more important. Look at where he picks up the ball, it's usually around the half way line.

The early natural instincts of his game has been sacrificed out of him for the obvious reasons.
I mean he's taking one for the team for sure. When a commentator says Ndiaye has enjoyed playing fullback against bukayo saka you know you're in a Dyche side.

What's impressed me is how strong he is on the ball. He got a fair bit of treatment from the Chelsea players but he held up to it really well. He looks wispy but he's not a soft touch at all.

Very much this, his defensive work and his appetite will set him apart from a lot of inconsistent wingers who don't want to do that side of it. A lot of number 10's in the modern game have to be effective in a press, he can definately do that if he plays there

The pass through to Doucoure when he uses his body shape to trick two defenders, class.
