Been out all day so haven't looked for an update bar something I saw on BBC but the feeling is weeks rather than months which is reasonable news if true?
His injury is exactly why we need a rotation imo. He does too much heavy lifting on the field and it's not a shock that he finally has a freak injury. Needs a bit of protection from wear and tear. Hopefully we continue to strengthen these areas in the summer.
Ya seems to be the case thankfully as many of us were fearing the worstBeen out all day so haven't looked for an update bar something I saw on BBC but the feeling is weeks rather than months which is reasonable news if true?
Which is why we need to strengthen the position. You would hope somebody from the academy shows something but it is more likely we will have to be in the window for more depth. There are very few players that can survive playing every week without getting a fatigue injury (particularly out wide where you are constantly at full sprint). A lot of those end up being nasty and probably could be avoided with rest.Thing is mate. If Moyes rested him and put say Harrrison in there would be murder
So would you have rested him for the Derby?Which is why we need to strengthen the position. That is missing the point. And no. I am saying this is probably due to him playing non stop just like McNeil had played nonstop and picked up two big injuries with us. We had to play him because we are lacking the depth which is why we need to add to the front 3 rotation. So would you have rested him for the Derby?
But we don't have a choice mate. Who would you put in to rest him? You said not Harrison so who. Up until now maybe, we haven't been in a position to rest anyone. Just remember where we were just 5 games agoThat is missing the point. And no. I dont think you have listened at all, he didnt say that he should have rested him, he said this is evidence of why teams need rotation badly. Its not enough to have 11 good players, you need 18-20 because if you dont rotate your top players they are more likely to pick up injuries. It seems it was a comment about the future and what future goals we should have.So would you have rested him for the Derby?
At CB. CB is one of the few positions that can actually endure the season. It's been mentioned before that CB is one of the few positions that is rarely rotated. They aren't doing full sprints all game.Tarkowski has played every game and scored a blammo in the dying minutes
Ohhh. OK. So chasing after all those slow coach Premier League forwards must be nimpsAt CB. CB is one of the few positions that can actually endure the season. It's been mentioned before that CB is one of the few positions that is rarely rotated. They aren't doing full sprints all game.
Nobody suggested dropping him??It's easy after the event, but imagine if Moyes had dropped him "incase he got injured " there would have been he'll to pay
