Hopefully with no stadium and new owners the days of having to sell our best players are behind us esp the like of Branthwaithe and Ndiaye. Only reason from now is if we are selling our top players is if they want out to likes of Real Madrid etc and demand they pay over the odds and not being lowballed anymore
Yes, we need to keep performing on the pitch and climbing the table, get to mid table or above and you are looking at a totally different market of players than what we have been used to the last few seasons.

Don`t think this has been announced yet!!!!!!!

Hopefully the injury does not affect his ability in any way and he comes back the same star he was. Hell, sometimes these things happen to be blessings in disguise as you get to look at other guys in the squad and find some diamonds in the rough. It happened in a season when we are playing for nothing. Not the end of the world if we can just stay clear of relegation as we have been. The signs indicate we should.

Feels weird being happy with ligament damage but it being MCL means we will hopefully see him this season again (fingers crossed)
I was 6 weeks out when I did mine in a tackle, theoretically, with pro treatment it could be 4 weeks for Illy, if it was a worse injury than I had he could be a bit longer so 4-8 weeks out. Such better than 6-12 months for an ACL/PCL

Trying to find other guys in the squad apart from 2 keepers

His injury is exactly why we need a rotation imo. He does too much heavy lifting on the field and it's not a shock that he finally has a freak injury. Needs a bit of protection from wear and tear. Hopefully we continue to strengthen these areas in the summer.
