What would City have to gain from it? They'd save a little bit of money, but we also are playing them again in May. If they're in a title chase I'm sure they'd prefer to face a weakened Everton side.

I'd take City without Barry if Gibbo was fit and playing well.

Yeah but Martinez absolutely embarrassed city in May.. He played Roger Espinosa & James McArthur (both as central midfielders as you'll get) in wing back roles. Just buy Cal Mac for FA Cup games and were sound. Stand out performer in the whole competition last year, and saying that is very young, lives to run at his man and could excel with a better team. Definately Chelsea without lakaku. Barry is the main cogg in Roberto's set up. Not to mention were undefeated with Barry playing, if that remains were fa cup winners! Yay!!

I think it depends on the terms agreed in the loan, I'm not sure about this with these two.

At the moment with current form, I think playing Chelsea is a easy choice and would avoid City like the plague.
