If Suarez's "goal" had been allowed...

Yes, it's not great failing to beat them yet again BUT we have now managed to gain the upper hand. Just look at Gerrard's comments and a piece in the Daily Post today written by one of their fans (whole article just slating Moyes).
We have them worried and they are now taking us seriously after ignoring us for years.

That's because they have fallen from grace and are not a threat to the title challengers anymore. We however being best of the rest are now their biggest rivals even away from the shared city fact.

WHAT IF CLIVE THOMAS HADN'T DISALLOWED HAMILTON'S GOAL
WHAT IF GRAHAM POLL HADN'T DISALLOWED HUTCHINSON'S GOAL
WHAT IF CLATTENBURG HADN'T SENT OFF HIBBERT AND NOT WAVED AWAY LEGITIMATE PEN?
WHAT IF ATKINSON HADN'T SENT OFF RODWELL?

FÚCK OFF YOU KOPITE APOLOGISTS

BOTTLED IT MY ARSE.

Quite right! There was no bottling and we were unlucky not to win - again.

I've seen no mention of Suarez' bad fouls in the media - he should've been off.

The foul on Jags by Coates hasn't been talked about in the media, either.

Sterling was lucky to stay on, even though the yellow was a little bit soft.

Marrallis, our best player was kicked out of the game.

Our second goal may not have been scored if we hadn't got the throw in, fair enough, but their second came from a free kick
that wasn't.

They were lucky to get a point and have nothing to complain about.

we must tighten up defense - 2 early goals due to bad luck and bad marking - we have to change that - if you start cautiusly you must make sure your defense is water tight otherwise you become a sitting duck - throwing caution to the wind is only worth while if you don't compromise yourself in the process - i think our back midfielders do not gell well with our defenders at this stage - hope we can improve there - we allow opposition strikers too much space - nobody was really pressurising Suarez with both those goals .......

That's about right. I think the defence have been prone to stuff like that over the last few years despite often being quite tight. I reckon things will improve between the back and midfield when Gibson comes back.

Yellow a bit soft? Made up for the other ones not getting yellows. As well as that dive which is far worse than Neville's.

Also it must be said, Moyes IMO, has the team playing more attractive football, which means we are scoring goals, something we have lacked a few times over the Years, but we are also conceding a lot of goals, most of which are down to downright terrible defending or strange deflections.

I cant think of many goals this Season where ive just thought, "Thats a great goal, hats off to them".

Yeah, can only think of the Villa one to be honest and even then I was a bit pissed off that we'd let them back in with a sniff of salvaging something - especially when they hit the post.

Come on gents. Neville's dive was horrendous.

I'm just glad to say that we are talking about an isolated incident and one which we all think is ridiculous and player and manager have both come out and said so.

Can you imagine the ****e ever doing that? They do it 10s of times within a game and then defend it afterwards.

I didn't say it wasn't but come on Sterling wasn't even within touching distance of anyone else. It was a shocking dive. I've seen worse but I think it's pissing me off more that it's been airbrushed out of ever happening when so much is being made of Neville.

Probably shouldn't be saying this and to be honest this is the first time I've ever felt like it but after the game at the weekend I feel like we should give them an absolute hammering at Anfield. Hurt them badly. We were easily good enough for the 3 points at the weekend, well the better side, and have absolutely nothing to fear from them at the moment.

They're shit. They shat it, parked the bus and were lucky to get a point. All three would have been daylight robbery.

He didn't bottle. He just lost his punch when Mirallas left the match.

I think this is the best squad I can remember, but there is no one to do the same as Mirallas.

The biggest mistake he made was bringing Gueye on for Mirallas instead of Oviedo. They were having a torrid time dealing with pace down the wings and Oviedo would've kept up the pressure on their defence. Gueye came on, ambled around and the momentum was lost.

For whatever reason the goal was disallowed I wonder if the linesman felt Suarez should have been dismissed for his stamp on Distin and having seen multiple card offences for Suarez go unpunished (I think the ref had decided pre-match to try and keep 11 a side) disallowed it. By the looks of things he was off to throw himself infront of Moyes again and I dread to think what would have happened after that. He would have had to recieve a second yellow for unsporting conduct and inciting crowd trouble. The manager cannot envisage his players being sinically taken out by that mentalist Suarez and I believe had Mirallas stayed on the pitch we would have battered them. Jelavic was strangly out of sorts too. Had he been firing we could have embarrased them. Hopefully saving it for the away fixture.
