If Everton......

If Everton get knocked out of the FA cup today, should Moyes be sacked?

Yes.

A club like this should always be trying to win trophies and at least getting far as we can in cup competitions.

If we go out today after the LC surrender to Wolves back in the autumn then he should be sacked.

He needs a top ten finish AND an extended cup run to prove he's worth it.

Lose this very winnable game today and his fate should be at least determined for the summer.
I think Sunderland are better than us currently.
A defeat is expected, imo.
Hopefully the team will prove us wrong.

Why are they better than us? We went up there to them and bossed them off the park first half then they had a bit of pressure on us and it ended all square.

Now it's time for us to be at home...

I would keep him until the summer,i wouldnt commit to any long term transfers just maybe a couple of short term loan deals in the transfer window.
I do not trust him with big money to spend last summers dealings were a disaster .
We can have a go at winning the cup but would have to be extremely lucky in the draws.

Madness to sack him. He's steadied the ship which was all but sank.
He has his flaws - mainly with subs but these are not his players so he has limited options.
Give him time and money. I trust his judgement completely with players he signs.

I didn't mind the league cup exit, as it was near the beginning of the season and we had no idea if we'd be battling relegation, plus the league cup seems to only be won by top clubs these days as evidenced by the last 4. The FA Cup is a different matter, and if we can get through a couple of rounds it starts clashing with European weeks which brings an opportunity to progress. However if we lose the season is over so no point trading in the manager. It will give the senior management time to search for a new manager, get a pre-contract in place, and start trying to get the players in that they want before getting rid of Moyes at the end of the season.
The league cup exit was a disgrace, no excuse whatsoever in my book

I think he will be gone at the end of the season regardless of what happens today but who knows with TFG. They can go through 3 managers in 3 months these guys. Think they will try to get through to the summer though for a fresh start.
