If Everton get knocked out of the FA cup today, should Moyes be sacked?

I think he will be gone at the end of the season regardless of what happens today but who knows with TFG. They can go through 3 managers in 3 months these guys. Think they will try to get through to the summer though for a fresh start.
That's why Moyes agreed to the puff piece from his sycophant go-to hack Andy Hunter in the Guardian: trying to get the message out to the owners more than the fans of this club IMO.

Had to rub my eyes when I read that.

Barry
KDH
Aznou
Rohl
King
Travers
Grealish
Dibling
Ok so in terms of ready to go premier league players he’s added KDH and Grealish (who are huge upgrades) and before KDH got injured and our player of the season and best attacker went to afcon we were right up there challenging Europe

Before the last two games we were looking good for an end of season challenge for Europe and even after those two disaster games we are six points of champions league spots

Madness to sack him. He's steadied the ship which was all but sank.
He has his flaws - mainly with subs but these are not his players so he has limited options.
Give him time and money. I trust his judgement completely with players he signs.
How has he steadied the ship, other than been given money to spend on players?
Dyche stabilised us with no financial support and a huge points deduction, and had us finishing higher in the league (ignoring deductions). Yes, things weren’t going well the following season, but the well was dry, a problem that was solved by the sale of the club.

Moyes managed a bit of a new manager bounce when he came in, then spent an inordinate amount last summer leaving us lower down the league with the smallest squad, and a bench filled with kids and goalkeepers who we all know will never get in the pitch.

Think we’d be daft to get shut he’s steadied the ship big time only been here a year. Must admit he’s frustrating at times but got to be sensible the league is a mess these days!

Yes.

A club like this should always be trying to win trophies and at least getting far as we can in cup competitions.

If we go out today after the LC surrender to Wolves back in the autumn then he should be sacked.

He needs a top ten finish AND an extended cup run to prove he's worth it.

Lose this very winnable game today and his fate should be at least determined for the summer.
Who will replace him?
