we've played better football when snides has played, our period last season when we played our best football came when gana was away in africa, ultimately snides hasn't been good enough this season, and that's been a huge disappointment, but overall career wise, he is a better player than gana
 
If Gana is left to do his actual job he's a beast, it's when we ask him to play further forward practically as another ten that he struggles.
Put him in there to break up play and lay it off to an arteta type player and we'll be sound
 
He does his job well but he's a very limited footballer when compared to the best midfielders, that's for sure.
 
Go 4-4-2 next game with Davies and Beni in the middle.

Might go horribly wrong but at this stage in a pointless season, so what?

Everyone in this squad is getting a million second chances.

He was our furthest forward CM yesterday for absolutely no reason.

Passing isn't his strong suit. Let him play the Barry role and shield, lay it off.

Unfortunately we can't rely on what he was like last year or any of the years before that we need players playing now and Snides isn't doing enough. There is no doubt a player in there it is just not being consistent enough to warrant a place. Gana has his limitations but presently he is a much greater asset to the team than Snides.
 
He’s being played out of position now to accommodate Schneiderlin & Rooney.

Final third is not where his strengths lie! He’s a spoiler. Great engine & appetite. Great tackling technique. He should be played deep. Nick the ball give it.

I agree and go further to say that very limited footballers have no place in an Everton team with any ambition to restore our long lost position as a leading team.
