Seemingly not a season goes by where a crucial player of ours gets injured during an international break just before a derby. Not that it would make much of difference mind, we'll still bottle it regardless but for once it would be nice to go into a game against that horrible lot at full strength.

This is true, however I think they will rest a few because of the Man City match and use that as an excuse when we wack them, we can now counter that with a list of our injuries, 2 teams either weakened by choice or injuries

Just seen he's hurt and out of the derby. Just don't play Schneiderlin
Schneiderlin has been sort of out favour the last few games. The manager has, hopefully, finally seen what has been obvious to everyone else all season.

This could be an opportunity for Klassen.

Schneiderlin was injured until last weekend that’s why he wasn’t on the bench. Came on as a late against Stoke = he starts vs City and Liverpool.

I'm sure every other football fan says the same about their team but the injuries list we've had has been seriously bad. Coleman, Bolaise, Baines, Barkley (for half a season), Gylfi and now Gana..... not to mention all the random niggles the likes and Jags and Holgate have had over the last few months. Can't think of many other teams that have lost so many key first team players and they've mostly been long term injuries too.
It probably wouldn't make any difference but when was the last time we played the RS with a fully fit squad to pick from?

Palace are one that have had it worse than us.
