Lads if you’re claiming Baningime is better than Gueye after just one and a half games them your flippant kneejerk geordieism is part of the problem.
Gueye and Schniederlin would probably look a bit better if players actually bothered to move into space and show for the ball. Our movement is shocking.
Ah 'whataboutism' the gueye fanboys are the same ilk as trump supportersSome utter guff being spouted here. He's probably our best player. Like everyone else in the team, he's playing absolutely rubbish at the moment, although not as rubbish as some (i.e. Schneiderlin).
I find the pair of them the biggest culprits of not showing for the ball time after time tbh
These players EVERY game giving 5/10 performances

Pair of hiders worrying we probably need to go bangimine besic & Davies.I find the pair of them the biggest culprits of not showing for the ball time after time tbh

I think the whole team is like that really. The only players in our squad who seem to want to take any responsibility are Rooney, Davies and maybe Mirallas at times and even then Rooney takes it too far, Davies is only a kid and Mirallas is as erratic as ever.
Beni has looked good mainly due to the fact that he is comfortable on the ball. Its not like he has been massively brilliant or anything, just doing the basics right and it makes him stand out like a sore thumb compared to the rest of them.
The backroom staff need to up their game as well. I often wonder what they actually do.I think your spot pn regaridng who looks for the ball ( hence why I don't get on Rooneys back when he is picked because at least he wants it even though he does my head in constantly dropping deep ).
I think it's a sad state of affairs when a kid has come in like Beni and in the small amount if time he's been on has looked head and shoulders above Morgan and Gueye by doing the basics as you mention. And that's the problem, these players aren't doing the basics right. Take the ball, look up, pass and move into space, marking men, preventing certain passages of play unfold etc etc all basic stuff that all the training in the world won't help when the players cross the white line.
None of them taking responsibility, in fact they are visibly shirking it
