Coming around to this view myself now.Get Garner not Gana
That's a farce if true. PSG having our pants down here.
Our reputation in the market across Europe still precedes us, it seems. This clubs business under Walsh, Koeman et al has a lot to answer for...
This is what Thelwell is having to work with ?![]()
Get Garner not
only reservation i have here is our midfield will be quite young with Garner, Onana, Warrington. Gueye would add some experieceGet Garner not Gana
Always interesting with PSG and midfielders. We sold him to them for 29 million quid 3 years ago so of course they want something for him even if it's just to save face. Just get it effin sorted Everton and stop faffing about.
Of course signing Gana wouldn't fix our problems. No single player in the world would. But it would be an improvement - possibly a small one - hence the price needs to be right. Not convinced.
Three years ago we saw an energetic Liverpool midfield running like crazy and causing every team massive problems. This season, still with midfielders such as Milner, Henderson and Fabinho, their midfield has been overrun and in periods bullied in three out of three matches.
Players that used to stand out for their running, work off the ball and for covering so much ground dont stand out anymore. Because the average midfielder runs more and works harder.
This summer Aston Villa signed a French international to strengthen their midfield. To take minutes from a Brazil international. Wolves signed a third Portugal international midfielder that had interest from a lot of big clubs. Fulham signed a DM that has played 14 times for Portugal since he got his first cap just over a year ago. Nottingham has signed a Belgium international, a Swiss international, a Senegal international and two of the best prospects from Championship last season for their midfield (+ LIngard). Leeds have started the season with a new, young, hungry and highly energetic midfield that has impressed everyone.
The idea of signing a 33 year old part timer to come in and fix Evertons midfield problems seems very optimistic.
For me it is about system or formation.Of course signing Gana wouldn't fix our problems. No single player in the world would. But it would be an improvement - possibly a small one - hence the price needs to be right.
get more fiber.I’ve spent longer on the throne than this transfer saga has lasted.
Chill out. We all know it will get done at 11.59pm on TDD.
Think that's why Coady n Tarkowski were important signings behind what we end up with.only reservation i have here is our midfield will be quite young with Garner, Onana, Warrington. Gueye would add some experiece
Have no fear, it will be sorted in the January window ?If this isn't sorted the weekend then it's time to move on to the next target. It's beyond ridiculous now
