Bakayoko is one of the random midfielders that’s been linked to Man United. Like Lemina.

I honestly don’t know if he’s any good and I’m scared of his name quite frankly after his name sake was not the new George Weah we had been promised.

I think Gueye is an integral part of how Silva wants to play as he pushes him forward to close down the opposition. I liked his attitude after we refused to sell him to PSG last season, he didn't sulk or moan but gave his all as usual. Maybe that's why we're rumoured to be in for Delph as a replacement. If Gueye wants to go I think we have to let him this time and get as much as possible. The two youngsters Williams and Beningime should be given a go if there is not an adequate replacement worth buying.

We will have to buy a replacement and a quality one. It’s not a season for experimenting with youngsters.
Also Delph won’t be his replacement

Whenever I watched him in that season, I wasn't convinced. He's a headless chicken tbh. He thrived because he was given the freedom to bomb forward and knew Fabinho would be behind him to do the rest.

He was basically deployed as a big unit to knock about going forward and cause havoc by just being there. He was clumsy and rash in challenges and that hasn't changed. He can be useful in a very particular system, but other than that I've just never seen it with him.

He’s basically Moussa Sissoko on steroids then by the sounds of it.

Everyday I pray to thank God that you're not our director of football. No offence but you come out with some of the worse shouts for players ive ever heard.

Gana is the top tackler in Europe. We have to replace that, someone like ndidi or sangare who are comparable to gana in stats.

Doucoure is not that type of player so I doubt we will be after him and bakayoko is litraly insane. He would cost too much and would be absolutely crap and to even suggest he would be a gana replacement kinda says to me you think we will totally have to change the make up of our midfield.

Gana had the most tackles in Europe with 4.3 a game. Bakayoko is the 145th most tackles in Europe with 2.3. That's a massive drop off in a much slower leauge.

Well me bringing stats into it brought me to looking at two of the top young talents in Europe. You looking at whatever you use to decide what would be a good player for us (I presume it involves a pipe somewhere along the line) led you to bakayoko.

There’s far too much Fellaini syndrome with some people around Gueye, as though there’s no midfielder who could ever replace him. He’s had a few great patches of form and some horribly average ones during his time with us. He’s been part of some absolutely horrific performances and some very good ones. I don’t buy that he’s an absolutely top player as he struggles with ball retention when under pressure. I can still see Coutinho absolutely waltzing past him at Anfield also.

If someone wants to give us a top fee for him, then I’d say fair enough and we can go and get a replacement or a different type of midfielder. He’s not the only guy in the world who can play defensive midfield though. People said Barry was irreplaceable until Gueye cape from nowhere.
 
I don't think he will be with us next season. I would guess that has been known at Everton since January.
A very good player anyway who has improved further again under Marco Silva and is now recognised as a big player for his country as well as his club.
I think a lot of clubs would be very interested in signing him but I think it will only be a certain few clubs that will interest him.
I think he is happy at Everton but certain opportunities may be hard for him to resist.

It looks like he would prefer to move if the right club came in for him and a fee in excess of 30m might be hard to refuse.
