Really should have been given a breather with 20 to go and Rohl brought on to do the pressing.

Chasing a goal and Alcaraz getting no minutes, Rohl not getting any minutes and now its obvious Armstrong is ahead of Dibling as a winger just so frustrating

could see why he started and why moyes wouldnt want to shuffle the deck too much but 90 mins was baffling

Not a chance Moyes will see that even if Gana plays ok, his inclusion changes the shape and tempo in a way that our other good players are hugely less effective. And may other managers would be the same.

It’s not football managerism saying we would be better managers. It’s one of those weird situations where a busy player becomes a managers comfort blanket. And everyone watching on can see it’s not working.

They obviously only watch the vids of the games we lost. Not the occasional game where the midfield has been excellent without Gana and everything clicked, and Garner was hot favourite for a call up. Notice that’s not been mentioned since AFCON finished.
