First thing on any opposition manager checklist must surely be press Gueye in possession. He was crap with the ball at his feet 5 years ago and he's even worse now.

Exactly. Press him and he coughs up possession, usually in dangerous areas of the pitch. He did it before PSG and he still does it.

Nah, when salah got the ball in their half, gueye was right on him. Should have taken him down. Even if salah had still made the pass, the amount they complain, it would have been pulled back.

Myko was in no man’s land. He should have gone to one of the runners but I think he was trying to cut off the path for the man with the ball as Gueye wasn’t keeping up with him.

The manager has only been in charge for a fortnight and in that time has played two games. My guess is that initially they tried to disrupt the team that had been playing regularly as little as possible to avoid total confusion. They tweaked bits here and there but it was still almost the same team.

As the management team settles in and as all the players start to understand what is needed from them we will see more and more changes.

I expect we will see quite a few changes by the seasons end.

I really doubt this. The players who play for us are arguably our best players, there may be an argument for Gray to start, but we mostly start with the strongest XI. It's just that the XI who do start are not that great, and are missing players who score goals; which we also don't have on the bench.

We don't have anyone to change to though. It's not like there are several wonderkids knocking on the door from the u-21s
