fadden finally finds footballing form

(not actually true because he was [Poor language removed] for ages)

cant place what has changed recently, perhaps the international scene has instilled a new belief in himself.

David Moyes' realisation that Faddy isn't a left sided midfielder perhaps?

he had a good spell up front with beattie 05-06, that was when he scored that pearler against fulham, and a quality away goal at boro.

back on topic, pienaar, it was his fine play first half that deserved a better finish that should have been the equaliser. and it was his fine play that befuddled boro in the build up to his goal on sunday.

it appears hes a good little player that can pass and cross fairly well. which is absolutely brilliant.

I agree, what he lacks in size he makes up for in determination and skill. The fact that he just does stop running is an added bonus If I was Moyes I'd get Dortmund on the phone and make the move permenant already they're after what £2 million? thats peanuts for a player with his quality.

As I understand it, the loan was agreed with an option to buy at the end of the term provided we and the player are up for it.

Cant see him wanting to go back to Deutchland after being crap there, so its all sorted provided we dont decide to argue over another 50p off like usual?

ah well, if thats the case then there's no need to rush if it is impossible for us to get gazumped by the barcodes.

So basically, if we like him we have the first option to buy if I read that piece correctly?

Yes I think so, but when have any transfers ever been that simple when it comes to us...

Anyone else confirm my understanding

Pienaar is here to stay if Moyes elects to keep him. So far so good. His sweet cross in the first half should have seen Ossie score a bit unlucky that. But he has shown me he can be prem quality with decent speed. Nice touches on the ball but doesn't have the arsenal of tricks Arteta does just yet.

After last night, and I know it was just one game, but I'd prefer Pienaaar to Ossie, he gives the team more and has a better engine on him(y)

The more he plays the better he will become around the team. Can't count Ossie out just yet though. But it seems Pienaar is starting to show some nice potential for us. Lets see what developes.

Pienaar must have trodden on every blade of grass last night, far outshone Ossie and Jag.

In fact Pienaar reminded very much of Owen Hargreaves in his play.

As for Ossie, it has to be January sayonara and give Jag a few more games in reserves or coming off the bench looked out of his depth last night.

We were crying out for a tackler and a bit of nasty in midfiled last night.

Messrs Gravesen and Cahill will be along shortly mate:lol:

And that is exactly what was missing Monty. I also wondered if Baines came on, leave Stubbs at CB and play Joleon in the centre mid, got ball control, can head, can run like [Poor language removed] off a shovel, can pass and can score.(y)

Yeh thats a certain possibility.

One thing no one has touched on from last night is Joey Yobo, he seems to have changed from hero last term to zero now. IMO all his old problems have returned, pulled out of position, caught in possession and generally didn't have a clue. He was that bad I wondered if there was something wrong in his private life as he seems to be fit. He has had an infection of some type but even that wouldn't explain his down turn in form:o
