Orite people,

Im a United season ticket holder, but i am a big fan of Everton Football Club, mainly because of the passion
of the Everton fans towards the club, and also your hatred of Liverpool

But i just wanted to get your views on some things i have been thinking about

Beckford - I used to work for a bookie so i went to Elland Road alot and got to watch the games! I think
Beckford is going to be a good signing for you, Leeds fans say he is lazy and dosen't move enough for the
ball, but from what i have seen he makes some brilliant runs but the leeds players don't have the quality to
pick out the passes that beckford is making the runs for, but i think when you have got Arteta in the centre
of Midfield, beckford can expect to get alot more chances on goal this season!

Mikel Arteta - I think he is a brilliant player and i dont think anybody doubts that, but would
Everton fans let Mikel Arteta move on maybe to get some Champions League football?

Wayne Rooney - I was at Goodison Park last season for the match against United, were you
fully deserved the 3 points, but what i did notice is there wasn't as much booing of Rooney has what there has been in previous years, so have you now began to understand why Rooney left his boyhood club?

We will have to wait and see but i agree. Think that he could be brilliant but if he aint then we havent lost any money on him. Moyes will stop him being lazy as he has done with the Yak and others. If he dont work hard then he wont be in the team.

NEVER - He is a blue and nobody wants to see him leave. He will get champions league with us......???

Wayne Rooney - I was at Goodison Park last season for the match against United, were you

I have always understood why he left but still think that he is a greedy little w@nker. But selling him was the best thing that we ever did, the money allowed us to build a better squad, and lets remember that teams now work on squads and not players.

Nice of you to join us here mate, hope you enjoy all the ramblings. Go Glazers!!!

He's just a fat little knob-head !!

he has become less important in our minds and we concentrated on getting behind the team as opposed to focusing on him, we will on every occasion deliver stinging retribution though that will let him firmly know our opinion.... quality not quantity.

mikel................ dream on, he will get c.l. at Goodison next year.

Beckford....... lazy ? cant be any more 'laid back' than the Yak.

Beckford - I thnk if he can bag 10 goals this season, it's a good signing, anymore than that, great signing. I agree with what you've said too about him

Mikel Arteta - I can't bring myself to say I'd let him go, simple. Just hope we can do everything to get him there.

Wayne Rooney - It was very bitter to start with, kissing the badge etc..time's passed by now, it was the best thing for both parties, he just came about a bit of a chump (maybe that's how the club made it look, who knows) but I think there will be a day when he actually gets a big cheer (but thats possibly down to him doing something for England perhaps)

although i would love you to get into the champions league, i cant see it, i think the 4 will be the same apart from shitty replacing spurs!!

Hatred of Liverpool? We just love beating them, ****ging them etc. It's all in good humour usually though. :P

City though... We ******* hate Man City. Despise them!

Welcome to GOT firstly.
Secondly - Rooney thrives on the hostility toward him so with partly that in mind, knowing he'll probably return one day and understanding why he did it resulted in the crowd not being arsed. He played poor mainly because he didn't get a reaction. Long may it last and he have quiet games against us!

Beckford - I do agree with you on Beckford. I think he will be a good player for us. He would have scored even more goals for Leeds if he had the services of Arteta.

Mikel Arteta - NEVER would we want Arteta to move on to Champions League football. That would be stupid right? Would you be happy if Rooney went to Barcelona because they are a better team?

Wayne Rooney - He seems to have grown up a lot since he was at us and deeply regrets the things that he may have said, so I don't boo him.

Beckford - on a free so not a massive gamble and meant to impressing pre season. Well see.

Arteta - no one would like to see him leave. But I wouldn't begrudge him going to big club like united, arsenal, barca etc, a club with a big history worthy to play at. Anyone else like citeh etc can do one, he's far too good for the likes of them.

Rooney - I think everything has settled now, himself and moyes have made up, fans are moving on. And he generally plays [Poor language removed] against us anyway

regarding Arteta im not saying, would you LIKE to see him move, but would you begrudge him a move to a champions league

If you want champions league then you have to earn it, really winds me up that players move due to lack of c.l./ euro footy, if your team haven't qualified then why do you think that you 'deserve' the right to play in europe ? If you fail in the prem then it's ridiculous to say that yiu are moving to get c.l. football.

you reap what you sow.

Welcome mate. Nice to see another fan come on here and offer another pespective, but one which is quite level headed.

Anyway:

Beckford: He was free. It's a no lose situation. However you raise a good point about us having better people to pick him out. If he can get used to the better defending, and try not to get caught offside, then we could have a surprise hit.

Arteta: I wouldn't want him to go anywhere. I could understand a move to a big Spanish team -- in an attempt to get into the Spanish squad, but I think Mikel is happy here. I just think we need to go for it this season. A great season, and a CL place would give him as good a chance as any for getting into the Spain squad. But yeah, I hope he stays, but if he goes we need a big fee. Replacing him would be incredibly hard to do, and even harder without much to spend.

Rooney: I can understand why he moved, but his childishness and lack of respect for the club was astounding. Just rubbed salt into the wounds. I always remember the "once a blue, always a red" shirt he had on that time, which is one of the most childish things I've ever seen on a football pitch. Nowadays he's grown up a bit, and I don't really care too much. I wish him well, and I wish United well.

Anyway, I think as someone else said the Liverpool rivalry isn't that hate filled. For some it is, but for myself it's a bit of fun. There's a lot of passion there, and some grudges, but not genuine hatred anymore. The hatred is for city. They're disrespectful, full of ******s and they're ruining the game. They're an embarrassment to English football, and themselves, and I wish them nothing but financial collapse.

I'd be happy for shiteh to finish above ushited tbh........ 3rd from bottom like:lol:

I don't really have any problems with United. Their success is based quite a bit on a winning mentality, which I admire. In fact, they hold up "NSNO" better than we do.

City are doing it all in the most disgraceful way possible, and I hope United beat them on every occasion this season like they did last. And I hope we do again too.

I remember them from the 80's though, when they were the kopites of yesteryear.....but we are gonna win it this year, we've spent this much, we get this many in the ground, it was all based on very distant glories. o.k. so we do that but the time that has passed since our last championship is still not as long as they went. Citeh are just an up down team, a citeh fan on talksport yesterday said that it wouldn't suprise any of them at all if in a season where they think they will win the league, that they actually went down.

*fingers crossed eh ?
