I don't like the idea of a new stadium

If we wanted to be sold to mega rich owners then we would have a better chance if the Kirkby deal went through, no one will touch us at goodison

Yeah, 'cos moving to a stadium tacked on to a retail park in a development led by Tesco worked out so well for Coventry didn't it.

Sorry to be so snarky, but anyone who was smart enough to (1) have earned enough money to buy the club and (2) smart enough to run the club well after they'd bought it would also be smart enough to figure out what a complete white elephant Kirkby would have been.

Coventry never owned their stadium though so that's irrelevant. They're simply tenants.

A New stadium is vital. Goodison is surrounded too tightly by houses, pubs and a church and the footprint needed to add an extra 10,000 seats would mean all of that would need demolishing. The parking facilities are awful and the work needed to bring it up to modern day standard wouldn't be worth it.

If the posts were taken out would the stand collapse?

My reasons for this and you might thinks its pedantic but I'm happy where I Sit in the lower Gwladys, I know the stand like the back of my hand and I enjoy the songs we sing and how we get behind the team.

A new stadium: Ok, how do we know where the Gwladys street faithful will be seated, they could be positioned here there and everywhere sitting next to the people who choose not to sing and the atmosphere will turn sour. In fact there'll be hardly any.

Do I have a point? Will everybody be split? Will they tell us where everyone else is going? Will I get a seat that is exactly like the one I'm in now? I don't like any of this and I hope it never happens.

Contact the club and tell them to announce were the 'singers' will be.
Just like Celtic and rangers do. They have a section where people just sing ect, looks well better.
