Chico, great job all season! I don't regret being an American, but I do when I read your previews, as I have to Google half the references and guess on the others. I've honestly felt I've learned a whole new language this year.

This! These previews have become an essential part of my Everton week. I think you must a smarter American than I am though because I have to look more references than you do! To me though, that makes them even better! COYB!

Report from another site:

"Roberto Martinez has confirmed both Steven Pienaar and Lacina Traore are back in full training and are expected to return to the squad in time to face Hull. The ineligibility of on-loan midfielder Garth Barry against his parent club forced the Toffees into a 3-4-3 formation tagainst Manchester City. With Barry available again Martinez is expected to revert back to a 4-2-3-1 formation, with Phil Jagielka partnered by either Jonathan Stones or Sylvain Distin, who was an unused substitute against Manchester City. Despite Traore’s likely return, on loan striker Romelu Lukaku will be hoping to lead the line, in what could be his last game for the club before returning to Chelsea. As always, Martinez has numerous options in the attacking midfield roles, with Steven Naismith, Gerard Deulofeu and Ross Barkley, Leon Osman, Aiden McGeady and Pienaar all vying for game time. Darron Gibson is unlikely to make the squad despite a return to training, while other long term absentees Arouna Kone and Bryan Oviedo remain sidelined."

So we look to have jags, distin, gibson, pienaar and traore available for the last match - bit of a shame we couldn't have had them a month or 2 ago.

Haha! Bruce is definitely Hull handsome.

Great work as ever Chico, cheers for a top season of previews! I only missed one all season and it was last weeks as I couldn't deal with watching or thinking about that game due to not wanting us to win which was weird... Plus I got a new bird and that was a good enough distraction.

Anyway I digress, cheers mate!

Mate it's bad enough being English but living down south, I refer to 'boss togger' down here and they're all like wtf?

I remembered to check out this weekends preview just now by speaking to my Liverpool based area manager as he referred to someone as an "utter weapon". Different language!

Agreed. It's one thing to read official reports on proper sporting sites filled with stats. Hooray.

Chico's efforts, however, give us scruffy colonials (and others abroad) a far more fun, flavorful approach, allowing us a glimpses into the culture, rivalries, atmosphere. The other important stuff that makes up the league.

oh, and lots of boss olde tyme photos.

Chico, fantastic pre-views throughout the season. Thanks for the efforts . great observations , some of the photo's stir memories, and the humour is top drawer, ( 200 hull girls in education. ... ).
Finish off with a win blues , I don't want us fifth on goal difference

is rice @chicoazul start not the beginning and what a positive start, COYB's, let's finish with a flourish, 0-3.

remember going up to hull a few years back with swansea fans as my mate lived in hull, and ripping the piss out of their tiger mantra, will be even wosrse now i'd gather.

bloody hell, what a terrible name and i like tigers!

Nicely done chico. I'll miss these previews over the summer months.

I reckon with this lot with their minds on the FA Cup final we shouldn't have too many problems. A comfortable 3-1 win for us.

It's brilliant isn't it? Imagine calling yourself Tigers!

I had spare photos too good to waste man. I could have filled another preview with more photos of this season.

Ace season in so many ways.

Thanks mate. The Europa League opponents leaves me as excited as I've been. We've never been in Europe since I tried doing previews.

oh i see, now you want to do the cups? no passing it on to ijjy and cena for europe!
