Huge Job

No, not what Michael Keane reminds me of.....but what Marco and Marcel have on their hands. It’s total rebuild that’s going to take time, probably two seasons minimum to get us even able to play attractive football and finish 6-8th.

Will they get the time and can Goodison be patient?

Did they realise the enormity of the task, and the weaknesses mentally and physically of this squad of players?

Will they succeed?

The fans have to be patient.
This season is going to be turgid and some lads on here need to wake up and smell the coffee.
It has been awful last season and preseason, it is going to continue to be awful.
Let fans vent their frustrations on GOT without being called knee jerkers, we are all in this together it it will not be pleasant.
We have to trust Marco and give him time to repair this club.

I'm not sure he knew the extent of what he was walking in to!

Surely the minimum is a season in place.

Some family at my primary school used to call number twos ‘jobbies’...damned if I can remember which family it was (it’s a fair while back), maybe the Trombik’s? or the Pottinger’s?.
Genuinely cannot recall but whatever, at the moment Everton’s football reminds me of a huge jobbie.

There is a huge job to do here but we will be OK with Brands and Silva.
Richarlison looks like a tidy player, we should get Digne in over the next couple of days so that still leaves time to bring in a quality CB and we aren't looking too bad then. The players we are bringing in atm look miles better than anything Ronko and the PE guy brought in and bigger changes will come next season when the old guards contracts are up.
It's going to be a bumpy ride but we will get there.......eventually.
