the thread about his gay kit got me thinking about this. certainly he hasn't exactly been a world beater at the moment, but would you guys go as far as to say he's in poor form?

today he may have been able to keep out duff's attempt but the taylor goal was in no matter what IMHO.

many people on here seem to have been commenting about poor play on his part, but atleast in the last two games, i don't think he's been too bad.

i'll admit that i've only been able to see a few of the last few games, but i've seen most of the goal highlights and haven't really seen any egregious errors, many of the goals we've concedeed don't even appear to be first attempts, but rather rebounds of shots.

He hasn't done alot wrong that's for sure. A lot of his game was dependent on the world class reflex saves he used to pull off, which he hasn't pulled off yet this season.

I've no doubt that when we get settled and string a couple of cleansheets together Howard will get his confidence back. but, the longer we go on without cleansheets. the more nervous I'll be when the ball is in and around our box.

He's still a top keeper and on form one of the best in the premiership.

Think you have to blame the shitty defence more than the keeper so far this season. But he just does'nt breed confidence.

I certainly have no confidence in him right now, and if its a good opportunity for their attack to score, then more often or not we're letting them in.

But thats form for you, players lose confidence. He's a better keeper than his current form would suggest.

i think he is struggling at the minute. he hasnt made one save that you wouldnt have expected him to make so far this season. even the 1st against liege, positioning bad and a poor palm out in the end.

he is absolutely awful at crosses/long throws!!! even last season, i can remember quite a few times when he should have came and caught but he doesnt leave his line!! swp/lescott og in carling cup springs to mind...

i still rate him, but at the minute he needs a clean sheet...dont we all

No offence intended, but can't you write in standard English? I'm not part of the text generation and, therefore, find it difficult to understand much of what you're saying. Go on mate, for the sake of clarity, use the skills you were taught at school.

Not a fan never have been, dont think hes [Poor language removed] just not a top keeper. I dunno but when i play Sunday Leauge the keeper will shout at the defence if someone isnt marking man over Howard looks as surprised as anyone and he has the play developing in front of him.
