As Athletic Club´s supporter I would like to extend my sympathy to Everton club and their supporters, and of course to mr Kendall´s family and friends.
He really left his mark on Athletic and its supporters. Therefore today is also a sad day in Bilbao.
Next week, during our home game, the players will wear black armbands and we all will keep a minute of silence for our last English manager.
Rest in peace, or as we say in Basque, goian bego.

Cant make the game today and so dissapointed I cant show my respect to a truly great Evertonian. He gave me some of my greatest moments as an Evertonian.

Today is an incredibly sad day but all the messages of support and the sheer sadness of it all just underlines how much I love this club.

Devastating news. A legend as a player and as a manager. That team upstairs, sadly, just keeps getting better and better. RIP, Mr. Kendall.

Stunned by the news, quite emotional to be honest.

To young to remember his legendary sides, but I hold him in the highest regards, and is with Dixie Dean and Neville Southall as MY Everton legends.

@Bryan said it was his saddest day as an Evertonian. I echo that sentiment.

My thoughts are with his family, RIP Howard.
