How satisfied so far are you with the running of Everton by the Friedkin group ?

Wonderful, couldn't be pleased !

Was very excited to be rid of Moshiri, and seeing what they've done at Roma gave me hope for a pretty sharp turnaround in fortunes. Uninspired by the Moyes appointment, and think they've totally bottled getting rid of him this Summer even despite him Moyesing us to little or no progress despite a hefty transfer spend (by our standards).

I could list out the ways in which I think they could/should change my mind this Summer but I am utterly convinced they won't, so I won't bother.

I just hope that when the inevitable Chrimbo clamour for Moyes to go happens, they'll act decisively and give the new fella the Jan window.

The fact they don’t appear to have any sort of long term plan alarms me I won’t lie.
How do you know they have no long term plan
They haven’t as far as I know told anybody their long term plan except to get us back up the higher echelons of the PL
That could be the plan or the plan could be stability improve and then flip for a profit
Next couple of summers will tell
Transfer committee have a big job on their hands this summer 4 first 11 players minimum needed

Well they’re letting a 63 year old manager go into the final 12 months of his contract which doesn’t suggest to me a long term plan.

Mid table and then flipping us for a profit next year isn’t a long term plan either, so that would concern me more.

Maybe they will let Moyes leave next summer with the ship stable and the squad a lot healthier than when they took over and then appoint a progressive manager to kick us on
Or flip us
No one knows what the plan is really

I think it’s far more likely that we’re forced to sack Moyes mid season and start this whole sorry process over again with another firefighter personally.

And then we repeat the cycle of calls for stability for another year when or if, a new manager comes in January.

We are a very Concerned fanbase, and rightly so after past balls ups.
But you have to give some kind of time or what's the point 🤷‍♂️

We will just have to wait till the transfer committee do their business
2 attacking FBs who can cross a ball a DM who can screen the defence and striker would improve this squad immensely
Do you mind if I go full Zatman FIFA 26 mode here
If I was the committee I’d be looking to do the following
Sell Tim 15/20m
Sell McNeill 15/20 million
Both of these should have PL takers
Sell Patterson 10 M (takers in Spain and Italy )
Sell Charley 10 m
One of Beto / Barry 25 m
Offers around 65/70 m for Ndiaye I’d take
I love him as a player but his best position is on the left and Grealish is a shoe in there
That’s about 145/150 million in sales
Add 100 million in transfer budget
Buy Rohl Hackney George say 60m
That’s 190m to buy
2 FB 60 m
DM 40 m
RW 40
Striker 50 m
There or there abouts
Cover in every position except RB and a vastly improved squad
Summer 27 buy a No10 and a marquee striker
Easy on paper but that’s the sort of planning the committee should be doing IMHO
All good planning that but execution in a tough market would be very difficult

I would be happy to give them time if I saw anything that suggested a medium-long term plan being implemented.
Give them 12 more months than and If nothing changes on/off the pitch than I will probably be joining you.

Kinnear has already stupidly and publicly given himself a 2 Window deadline and that will carry Moyes with him.

Well they have stabilised us financially
Got the stadium up and running
Brought in new sponsors
Appointed who they deem to be competent professional in key areas including recruitment
Appointed a manager to keep us stable in mid table for 2 years
Provided funds for transfers
That to me is a medium term plan
Plan may not work out as planned especially around recruitment but that’s not their forte
Long term no one knows
I worked in a big multinational for 39 years
All MDs would say the same
I know the one year plan and I can share that
I know the three and five year plan but I can’t share that
But I haven’t got a clue on the 7 and 10 year plan
TFG are treating this like all their other business concerns

….i’m fine with them so far. Good managerial appointment to get us through a period of transition, gave a decent spend envelope last summer and financial stability.

They’ve hardly got their feet under the table, so far so good but we’ll know better this time next year.

My old company ( a historic British company ) was taken over by Americans
Took them about 3 years to get their head around the business and then they pumped money in non stop
Company I work for now (( world famous Irish company that @Eggs like a pint of ) was taken over as well
Took them 4-5 years then they pumped money in like there’s no tomorrow
Sales are gone through the roof
It’s the way the yanks work and especially with a business they are unfamiliar with
