Never understood why capitalism is seen as some enemy or something. Its, to me, a less than perfect system that those who take the risks can benefit personally, but only if what they offer is actually wanted by folk.

We waste so much energy in our houses, perhaps it would be better if the government owned them and our cars as well, oh and farms and the animals, and..........

Well, what's the matter with wanting to conserve energy? What would be wrong with the government getting you a car? Regulated state farms, not focusing on creating profit but creating quality livestock?
