Gana Gueye transfer alone saved the club about 30 to 40 million.

Gueye also great business and is probably valued over 40million by us now.

Lookman again also looks worth 20mill+ so a great investment and hopefully goes on to do big things for us.

Supply and demand.

Everton have bought up the available supply of good players in their positions.

So yes. Price spikes. Feasible.

I didn't say I necessarily agreed with the valuations quoted.

Just the principle. That their value has increased. Also since they are on long term contracts.


It's mute anyway as those players cannot transfer again this season.

The fact they both had one year left and they both wanted to leave depressed their value.

Those facts alone account for around £15m - £20m of the increase.

My valuations were overly optimistic to stimulate debate. Your valuations are actually more mental!

My hangover is really starting to kick in as I thought that said Pickford for £90m
