Says who? how do we know who we are after.Agents have been using our name to get better deals for their players
I`m happy with the players recruited so far, makes us stronger and we did have the best squad since the 80`s last season according to some.
Lets just wait and see at the end of the window!

Thats fine mate, you just live in la la land, and when the window shut and we've missed out on all our main targets you can sugar coat it another way....you always will, you'll settle for 2nd best. we have to many fans like you that will, and its the reason why were in this [Poor language removed]. We settled for kenwright for far to long and look where it left us....

Ill never settle for 2nd best for Everton and dont care who i upset in doing so.

We should have offered Swansea, Villa, Soton and Palace double for their players. That money must be spend, whatever it takes.

If we can't get the right players in, I'd rather keep hold of the money. Having said that, there's still a few days left in this window. Still expect us to be quite busy in the final stages.

Still think it will be in the £25m area, but that would mean we have dented the TV money - not saw any investment from the new owner.

Spending recklessly isn't the answer though. We've already missed the opportunity to acquire sensibly, so I think the bulk of our "new era" business will be done next summer, if at all.

This is the best idea IMO. No point on blowing it on hopefuls. Save it for the next window when RK has had a look at all his options and then go blowing other clubs out of the water by signing some top class talent, like Mata.

Completely agree mate. Two decades in the wilderness with the club and the boom has been lowered so much that the first new owner who comes along and lifts his skirt everyone looses there minds with euphoria.

Me, I.m like that fella Thomas..If you tell me your back from the dead then you can be sure I,m gonna put you to the test.

I`ll never settle for 2nd best myself, one of the reasons I stopped going was Kenwright & co`s acceptance of mediocrity.
But what I can see is the foundations being built:
Moshiri with 49.9% ownership with option to take to 75%
Possible new stadium on the waterfront
Keoman persuaded to come
Walsh also
GP getting a facelift

I have waited for so long for something like this to happen,I`m not going to get all pessimistic over one transfer window after the dross we have been served up over the last 16yrs.

Like I`ve said the window isnt shut yet and the team is already stronger than last seasons

Hope your right.

Were just coming from different ends...

For me, i wont get excited till is see all this so called investment. So far all Moshiri has done is bring in a new manager. Im sure any new investor would have done that.

Where is the "net spend means nothing unless qualified by details of the QUALITY of players bought and sold" poll option?

Would people REALLY be happier if we'd sold Stones for £3m? I mean, that would leave us with a bigger net spend at this point.
