A bit of fun this one.
Quite simple, how much will our net spend be this window? Closest answer to the final figure wins a GOT mug or dinner with @Bruce Wayne.
I'm in!Absolutely nothing....
unless, like some idiots you take into account the sacking of a manager and the purchase of land for a stadium!!!!
Not remotest arsed.
Q. Will our squad be improved? (So far so good).
End of imo.
Pretty sure our net spend last January was pretty decent. Until you remember who we actually signed.
Wow.
Two in at 25 million plus each
One more in at 15 to 20 million
One out for ~ 20 million
I've been keeping my ears close to the ground mate
... and they're now covered in soil.
I suppose if they're willing to throw £25M at a player like Bolasie then there's a possibility you could be right. I doubt it though. Not at this stage. Notwithstanding the usual 'get real' situation for selling clubs in the final few days, I cant see that level of spending. A targeted record transfer of £30M plus a loan deal for a GK and maybe £10m-£15M spent on a couple to strengthen the squad, tops. Then subtract a couple of £10M-£15M sales.
Uncharted territory with the new owner, so we can only speculate. But that ^^^ would be old regime Everton.

Words are words at this stage. And to be fair to that old regime (and they really shouldn't get a fair hearing) they did get an iconic stadium scheme a very long way down the line to fruition until elements of the board pulled the plug on it.Old regime took 20 years to get nowhere near a new ground.
Signs are, granted, signs, that the new one have moved reasonably close to securing what we all crave.
Net spend? Arsed.
