TBH, with the way that we did business this year, it seems that the crowing about how poor we are was left in the office. The stance during the whole thing was completely different to Moyes. His approach to United would of been, "We have no money, so require you to give us a premium on our player, unless that is met, then you cant have him", which, if I was the buyer would tell me that they would go cheaper the more desperate they became.
Bobby played a blinder, regardless of what money we have/had in the coffers, he never said anything about us being skint, and the whole "McCarthy in no way is dependant on Fellaini" is designed purely to say that we are not for shifting on the price.
They both got very similar results, but Bobbys way is much more pleasing, and puts everton in a much better light.
