How much can we really spend?

Not an answer to the exact question. But if we spend 100 million net (reckon Ross will go for 30 ish). I reckon we're in business. With our other definite outs, niasse, deloufeu, Cleverley that should cover our major signings i.e. Keeper, centre half, attacking mid and a forward, plus a few other modest Steve walsh style bargains.

Hi mate, as mentioned earlier in the transfer thread, we are aiming for a £30m net profit to put towards stadium costs

Ah right did not see that, Where's this from? Other variable is we're now cash rich and every other club knows we're eager to make a step up. We're not in the best negotiating position. I envisage lots of fume prior to September 1 when the dust settles ha ha

I assume when you are handing out your weasel points you'll be giving yourself a giant load of them based on this unsubstantiated tosh?

People bang on about net spend as if it's important..

And they are correct. Net spend equals trophies. Simple as that.

No, as mentioned earlier, it was on a podcast.

You seem very angry.
Not angry. Just confused.

You said this -

Plus he's been asked by the Board to make a net £30m profit to start the new stadium project.

In a ITKish way with no source stated.

Then only later demurred on your (very tenuous) sources.

According to your own weasel criteria you seem quite weaselish. Just wanted to make sure there was no double standard at play.
