How many will play their last game at Goodison in an Everton shirt this Sunday ?

This would make me furious. If Moyes recognized that Barkley has enough quality to make it at United, he should have been playing him. If he does go this summer, the fee probably won't be as high as it could be since he's still unproven.

Couldn't see Moyes doing something this low

Throughout football history newly appointed managers have raided their former club for their better players. He won't be bearing EFC's interests in mind when he signs on the dotted line at Utd. I wouldn't take it too personally - it's a professional thing. In a year or two's time if he feels that Barkley has progressed in his development he could well come after him.

Would Barkley want to play under moyes again, though?

It would be folly for him to come and raid us - one of Baines and Felli apart perhaps. It wouldn't be setting the right tone as manager of a new club to turn round to multiple champions and say "and here's Seamus, Jags, Barkley" etc. It's a sure fire way to lose the dressing room - not when you've just been given permission to talk to the likes of Hummer, Lewandowski, Lahm etc. are you going to go bargain hunting.

Your guess is a good as mine.

But would he want to play for Utd/chances of silverware/more dough ?

I'm sure that after he joined us he said he wouldn't go in for any Preston players out of respect for them. I imagine he'd have the same policy.

Baines, Jags and Big Hair could play in a top 4 side no problem. After that, Pip, Hitz, Johnny, Howard could be gone.

Loto on the rest.

I think it will be more a case of the players that Moyes bought moving on elsewhere...fresh start.

Posted this in a different thread, but I sincerely HOPE that Moyes has enough class and too much love for Everton, for him to take half our squad with him

His new job requires him to keep his team in the 'top one', whoever he needs he will take. He'll have enough monkeys on his back without adding 'fondness for his former club' to them

I can see him going and taking our stars! Def done a lot for the club but once again money rules football! I'm sick of being a feeder club to the big money clubs! My hatred for teams like united has increased ten fold! This shouldn't have happened until the season was over! Once again our fans loose out and all so the scummy united fans get to say goodbye to the their manager! Yes Fergie was a great but for me the timing of all this shows their complete lack of class as a club! And also in my eyes if he announces leaving before the season is over that will always tarnish his time at our great club!

Its been a busy day, but its got me thinking of next season, and especially who we may not see play at Goodison in an Everton shirt again..

Phil Neville - We know he's gone for sure already. Moyes will miss a BIG trick if he dosent take him with him.
Mucha - Cant see him staying.
Heitinga - Cashed in whilst still of some value, wages off the bill.
Baines - The lure of Old Trafford in a World Cup year maybe too much.
Fellaini - Just hope it dosent drag on the whole summer.
Hitszleberger - Never long term.

That's 6.. That's a lot..

This isn't a doom and gloom post, Im just interested in who you lads think we wont see again ?

30M for Baines
30M for Fellaini
5M for Heitinga

I'd be just fine with that.

Meanwhile, outside the twilight zone...

Seriously?

What part do you think is "inside the Twilight Zone?"

Surely you don't think teams will get those players for much less than that. Or have you not been paying attention to transfer market prices lately.
