How many will play their last game at Goodison in an Everton shirt this Sunday ?

Said in another thread, think he has too much respect for the Club and would most likely want to keep some form of relationship with the fans. Highly doubt he'd take anyone over with him. He can have Naismith though.

Carroll - 35M
Carrick - 20M
Hazard - 32M
Downing - 20M

Heck...

Rodwell - 10M
Arteta - 10M

...and Baines or Fellaini will go for around those lower numbers?

Reality folks.

Seriously?

What part do you think is "inside the Twilight Zone?"

Surely you don't think teams will get those players for much less than that. Or have you not been paying attention to transfer market prices lately.

Heitinga has been flashing his arse at anybody who walks past for a couple of years and we've been holding up a sign to him mate, nobody seems interested in paying for the guy.

Baines will be 29 by Christmas, no way he'll go for £30m.

Fellaini for £30m is possible, but that would require a Russian side to come in for him and drive the price up, imo.

When Jordi Alba costs £12m you can't be expecting Baines to go for more than twice that.

Hate to break it to you Bill but Baines was going to United for a lot less than £30m last year before he turned them down.

That's not how it works. You can't use examples of bad spending to prove transfer valuations.

It is absolutely how it works despite your insistence that it doesn't. If you'd like to pull out examples I'm all ears. What I've done is pull out recent transfers which are applicable.

I'd suggest you go have a word with yourself if you really, honestly think that Baines or Fellaini would leave us for less than 20-25M.

30M is more than a fair number. Deep down, I think you know that too but just aren't willing to admit it.

Maybe I'm just being really naïve but I don't think it's a dead cert that Baines will go. If he did leave I would wish him well, he deserves to win trophies before he retires.

The playing staff does need an overhaul with so many over 30.

Who really knows what will happen? It will depend on who is our new manager, and whether he/the players are wanting to work with the other.

£20m is a lot less than £30m....

Only two defenders in history have gone for £30m or more.

Thiago Silva, best centre half in the world and younger than Baines at the time of his transfer.
Ferdinand, who was a lot younger than Baines (early 20s ?)

Fellaini, Neville, Mucha and Hitzlsperger probably.

My god Sunday is going to be one emotional day.

End of an era well and truly.

That's probably what the discussion between Bill and Moyes was about this afternoon...How much will you give me for Felli and Bainsy David??

I'm sure Bill is rubbing his hands together

Baines IS the best left back in England at present who is also English.

There is NO CHANCE he leaves Everton for less than 25-35M.

Fellaini could go for less but it won't be in the high teens. Not even close.

Baines wouldn't go for anything near £30m, sadly. Despite being the best left back in the world IMO, he's getting on a bit in footballing terms now.

Using the fees paid for Carroll and Downing is hardly a measurement of a players' worth.

Everton sold Wayne Rooney, the most exciting English player of his generation, for £26m.

Why on earth you think Baines would go for £30m is beyond me !
