I dont know who's in charge of promotion but "Brand Everton" isnt very sellable and is hard to come by outside of Merseyside.

A short time ago I was desperate to buy something Everton. Maybe a smart hoodie or sweatshirt. Just something that was good quality and not too over the top with regards colouring or emblems. But everything they sold looked a bit naff, to be honest. So I didn't bother.

I was discussing top wearers with the barman in my local,and when the [Poor language removed] are on the TV its wall to wall red tops even if its a home game?so they buy shirts but not tickets.Now when we are on if away the pub is pretty packed but in fairness not as many as the r/s and also a lot less shirts if at home,a lot fewer than them but most have blue tops? pattern emerging maybe.at our last game apparently a fight broke out because a red remarked about certain blues who mouth off in the pub but dont turn up to watch,It was explained that as blues they spend cash on tickets not posing gear and the [Poor language removed] hit the fan.and so did someone else
