If Gomes can pass and tackle well enough, we could go 4-1-4-1.

Picko
Coleman - Keane (or Mina) - Zouma - Digne
Gomes
Walcott - Sigurdsson - Bernard - Richarlison
Tosun

One thing that needs to be taken into account is that Zouma isn't our player and isn't really likely to sign for us after the loan. Think we should develop a lasting partnership at the back instead of landing ourselves back in this situation at the start of next year
100% agree with this. Zouma has been very open about his desire to return to Chelsea, they may not want him back of course, and so we need to plan for a future without him. Keane has been utter toilet but there have been signs of improvement and if we are looking to keep him and Holgate beyond the end of this season then we have to look at a system involving some combination of Mina, Holgate and/or Keane to be embedded by the end of the season. Zouma's a stopgap, a decent stopgap, but a stopgap nonetheless, and we shouldn't leave ourselves in a position where we are having to change personnel in the defence once again for next season.

Keane and Davies are the obvious players to come out but it’s not completely black and white. No need to massively change a winning team if the form is decent enough at the time they’re ready.

There is also a world where Gueye could drop out and Gomes partners Davies.

See I still don't think Keane has had a good run with a solid partner, that's my issue with judging his performance, I'd like to see him and Mina play a decent few games together before we give up on him

Keane stays in, until he gas a poor run of form then we think about it, but him and Zouma are doing well, side needs to stay unchanged

Bizarre there are people on here saying we should drop players from a winning team for 2 that haven’t even kicked a ball for us yet.

Not a fan of changing a winning team and dropping the captain tbh.

Think they will appear from the bench and try and win themselves a starting place from there.

One of the players is 20 and not exactly running games , the other has played crap for a year and has improved over the last 5 games. The two “that havnt kicked a ball yet” both came from Barca , one for big money, the other played like 40 games last year for them I think

Gomes for Davies ... leave Keane and Zouma for now as playing well. Best performance i can remember for ages yesterday. Great to leave a ground winning a game like that. Just need to keep improving every week.
