How boring are we to watch?

We beat West Ham 6-0, Sunderland, Middlesbrough and West Ham 5-0 to name just a few not to mention an Anfield derby win under Smith. When did we last score 4 in the prem, Anybody recall it? We have had 2 good performances in 36 league games this season Man utd and Villa at home.

Didn't we beat both Stoke and Fulham by 4 at home last season?

Like in Sliders?
Yeah, same way exactly. And You can't believe it's real; counting the minutes to wake up but it just goes on and on...But unlike Sliders You don't wanna hop on to another timeline as You suffered enough for 20 years and finally enjoying every bit of football You can get.

Not from where I was sitting, my friend.

I thoroughly enjoyed the game......particularly the cavalry charge in the second half with Sesmus leading the way.

We must have had about 15 or 16 corners or more.

You don't get that many corners when the play is "totally slow and prefictable" ergo the sum is not "boring".

Not being funny mate but does anyone get excited by Everton getting a corner these days?

And you can get loads of corners from taking too long to get the ball in the box from the byline. Our crossing is a joke and why didn't Lennon take that corner on halftime when most of the ground was screaming g at him!

If you got excited by today's game then fair play to you, you obviously have a boss pre-match routine, cos the game was awful.

I thought we played quite well.
I admit we looked lost in the final 3rd and our corner's are a joke but they were very lucky.
On the whole we were well the better team today

Baines was knackered today crossing back and forth to take those corners when we got about six on the spin.lol

We lost 2-0 and their keeper hardly had a save to make.

I don't care how many times Stones passes to Barry, its goals that win points.
Like i said the final 3rd let us down and our shooting was poor .
They got 2 deflected goals and were very lucky.
Yes they won but the performance was nowhere near as bad as some are saying

It does my head in when they pass it sideways and backwards in our own half, then Jags will make out as though he's doing a mad run forward, check and roll the ball back to Stones/Barry or Coleman, then we start all over again, before someone makes a balls up and loses possession, all this usually occurs when we are chasing a game:(

And people ask,why are the fans quiet .

It nearly always will mate, if you play that slow tempo possession game in front of an organised defence you need top level players to create good chances. We do better against teams that attack us cos its not us dictating the game and we hit them on the break.

The manager isn't making the best use of the resources available, he's sticking with his style regardless of how it suits and we don't have the players to make it work and on our budget we never will.

He's trying to emulate Guardiola without the pressing and top level talent. Even Pep's style has been found out by the big sides now.

In the past i have been against his tactics and the poor job he has done this season.
But from 2 months ago he has changed things for the better and that gives me hope for next season.
He still has a lot to do and i am sure he knows the pressure will be on come august,so i will look at it again in september/october.

This is part of the reason Martinez is getting so much stick (and rightly so IMO). We have a core of some very good players. We are not talking about a team of alexanderssons, gemills and pistones that moyes inherited. This is a team that contains players that are envied by other clubs and their supporters. It is not just the poor results, which is bad enough, but the turgid and dull football served up week in and out. Living here I am regularly asked by utd and city fans why are we so low in the table with the team we possess. A simple answer really I tell them..... Martinez. Season ticket sales are going to take a hit, not just with the results, but the quality of football being served this season. If we have low season ticket sales, I'd still not trust kenwright's to do the honourable thing and sack Martinez.

I'm sorry mate but that 'great run' included games against Newcastle, QPR and Burnley. Just look at the league table and two of those games we only crawled over the line. I and many other fans have very little optimism with the thought of Martinez at the helm next season.
