How boring are we to watch?

I'm sorry mate but that 'great run' included games against Newcastle, QPR and Burnley. Just look at the league table and two of those games we only crawled over the line. I and many other fans have very little optimism with the thought of Martinez at the helm next season.
You can only play who is in front of you though mate and winning 5 out of 6 took us over the line.
The biggest problem for me was his not changing of the tactics which stopped working and eventually he realised he was wrong and changed things with good results.
That hope leads me to think he will change other things as well.
Don't get me wrong this season has been a disgrace and we should not hide behind europe, injuries or the pretend 2nd season syndrome but we are now out of the dark and hopefully what we have learnt will take us forward

The warning signs were there for all to see last pre season. Then we had the usual excuses rolled out at the start of the season with fatigue following the World Cup being the favourite. At the same point in the season, Chelsea (with a whole squad who where at the World Cup) where sweeping past all before them. Then our participation in the Europa league was used as another excuse (even though our results were no worse in the weeks we weren't playing in it). That is all we've had this season is excuses, excuses excuses. Even injury wise, apart from early injuries to Barkley and stones we have had a relatively 'light' season on the injury front. I genuinely can't wait for this son to be over. But at the same time, privately dread the thought of some of our key players leaving the club this summer.

We never take any risks going forward near the opponents' goals, that might, you know, create something....

Yet we do lots of risky things in our own half, and usually get caught for it.
Everton, that.

You know what i haven,t even looked at the posts on this thread
All the years i,ve been up and down the country watching my beloved team ,sadly today put the cap on it. What the Fulk... Aston Villa seen us off last week 4th from bottom ?
This day a very [Poor language removed] Sunderland team(3rd from bottom) before today sees us off on our own mitten .. Where are we going under this board... this is really.... Everton That ....

I. I've never seen such a dreadful Everton team in my whole life. And to top it all off, there was still remnants of a sticker on my seat today. Don't this club respect me anymore? I remember when we had real fight in the middle with lads like Pembridge and Gemmill, none of this McCarthy and Barkley [Poor language removed]. How can anyone get excited over the likes of Lennon when they've seen Alexandersson glide down the wing. All this passing the ball around is killing me lads.

Went to only my 3rd game of the season today as I don't have a season ticket and can honestly say that was as boring football as anything I witnessed under Walter Smith when I held a ticket. When do we ever look like scoring 4 or 5 in a league game? Can't remember the last time we hit four in the prem.Surely we can't put up with another season of that slow clueless football. Whenever a team defends deep we have no idea how to break them down. I am not forking out £38 again to watch that team untill he's gone.
Your probably from North Wales aren't you, stop being a minge bag and get behind your team even if we are [Poor language removed]

Joey who cares what he does for england. Its what he doesn,t do for Everton that bugs me. Every player with talent is going to do it for ..whoever.. sorry mate i,m losing it with Ross... and i would say many more of us are too ...........
What has happened to the lad. he was an outstanding prospect and along came our manager ..mind you the england manager came along ..too..peas in a pod ...

I'm not bored with watching our team. Yes it is frustrating when the results don't go our way but it still interests me how the team evolves over the years. What I have seen in particular this season in some games is that we only get going when we are a goal behind. That trend was again evident to me in today's game.
