The "we were awful Under Smith" is a line the Moyes apologists started once his honeymon period was over

I went home and away most weeks and it was horrid. You mean like when we beat Sunderland 5 0 under Smith? There was a few top moments under Smith, including our last win at Anfield, it wasnt %100 gloom and he didnt have a 28m striker!
I don't know why people feel the need to compare and contrast the different levels of utterly dross football we've played over the past 20 years.
Fact is, we're painfully dull to watch, and that isn't good enough.
I refuse to listen to any Martinez pre/post match interviews. They are always the same balderdash utterances. Can you imagine having to , on a daily basis, as a player? No wonder our team is so uninspired...so bored
It's not great at the moment Colin but when we get it right we're great to watch. Man Utd an example.
When we're at home against a team setup to stop us playing though, it's more than likely to be grim...
The problem is, we only play against teams of United's ilk six times if you include Spurs. That leaves thirteen games against teams setting-up to stop us play and we have been found wanting all season to say the least.
If today was a one-off, I could accept it. Sadly, it is the norm and why I feel the manager should walk.
Is it bad of me to want to wring his neck every time he says 'phenomenal' or ''incredible'? Better I just refuse to listen to any of his bullsh1te. But I do have sympathy for the players who have to hear him every day. Can you imagine that?...purgatoryHe should go and join the conservative or labour. He can be a good speaker.

Yes, I said on an earlier post that Martinez fooled me initially, but I felt assuaged by the fact he also fooled no less a seasoned pro than Samuel Eto'o. If wanting this snake oil salesman out of Everton makes me a plotter, then so be it.Well Eto'o and Distin had enough...
Martinez doesn't know how to change tactics, tactics remain from kick off to final whistle.True this, its easy to get up for a match against United, a team who don't just play football but its a scalp any player and manager will want. But some of the worst games we have had this season has been against teams like Hull and WBA, who haven't turned up to entertain us but to suit there own needs, and we didn't have a clue what to do about it. Martinez has been out managed so many times this season by managers who the vast majority of Evertonions wouldn't rate at all and for me this shows how last season has blinded us.
As someone who's watching utter toss football I think I can tell: this Everton is boring in 90% of the times. This spring I've seen 10 times more sparkling, lively football from my No. 1 team than from Everton. And that's shocking really. I wasn't used to it and now I go every second weekend and watch real football games with pace, opportunities, goals, wins and beautiful football. It's like I'm in a paralell universe where things changed.
