My remark about understanding why folk have had enough of experts came on the back of The Lancet (experts, apparently) publishing disinformation, with conflict-of-interest to boot.

In the post I replied to you made no mention of The Lancet.

What is arguably stupid is still trusting that particular expert after this particular revelation.

This is how science works. It's evolves as experts in their fields work hard to work out the best course of action. This has moved quickly during the pandemic especially as it has had to. I have watched it. I find the imagery used very interesting. Constant usage of Illuminati imagery. So many pyramids with all seeing eyes. Anytime they use any kind of media companies to make their point about brainwashing they use CNN, Facebook, Twitter etc. Weirdly all "lefty" organisations. But there isn't a single Fox News logo in there, or Newsmax or OANN. Really balanced view of who it creating this mass psychosis.

If you really believe that mass psychosis and menticide is such a big issue in the World, then surely it is happening across the spectrum? Or do you just worry about mass psychosis when it doesn't suit your point of view?

I was directly talking about that piece, and others of that ilk. That's what you replied to. That was the talking point.

So now I can assume we all find it reasonable and fair when some cautious folk rather wait-n-see regarding the vaccine...maybe waiting a couple of years to see how effective & safe they are, and how the various variants develop, and how the vaccinated may influence such variants, or even their own immune system?

Because the science keeps evolving after all, and so fast and wild that Dr Fauci himself will contradict his own guidances several times a year. The journey from no-masks because people fiddle with them to two-masks-including-children is pretty stunning. And considering the Rhinovirus (common cold) is significantly smaller than the sars-cov-2 virion it makes sense to not always fully & immediately 'trust the experts'.

The wait-n-see crowd (aka not-yet-vaxxed) are arguably the most sensible group, and should at least be tolerated by wider society rather than demonised. Because the demonisation that we've seen (that the unvaxxed are dangers to society) has also been based on outdated science that has since 'evolved'.

Trust the science? Trust the experts? Within reason, but not without limit.

I've seen plenty of protests against government policies. The mainstream media aren't keen on showing those to the general public, mind.

What kind of entities generally like to attempt thought control of the masses? The kind that are intolerant of other views. Which organisations are intolerant of others? The 'lefty' ones, as demonstrated by countless social media bannings of anti-leftian, and crucially western, profiles.

Hence for example why the Taliban (actual insurrectionists) are allowed on Twitter, and Donald Trump (not an insurrectionist) is not.

Build your own Twitter, they said. Parler did that then got banned from Apple/Android app-stores.

There is something significant happening, and not everyone can see it.

I’ve got no problem with hypotheses when there is a lack of conclusive evidence. That’s why I think the possibility of it deriving from the massive coronavirus testing lab located in Wuhan should not be ridiculed or dismissed, and thankfully the lab leak hypothesis is no longer being dismissed or ridiculed as it was previously.

I do have an issue with propaganda making unsubstantiated claims of certainty, especially when those making the claims happen to be involved in the American funding of the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

I agree. It’s extremely irresponsible to make unsubstantiated claims of certainty. The conflict of interests are even more concerning. It’s a great shame that once respected publications like The Lancet have succumbed to this.

UC did ban (for want of a better term) Elsevier's publishing for two years...but i just found this more recent news:
