TBH I hate the whole "which race is so-so horse going to be running in at the Festival?" posturing from every pundit out there.
Unless you have Willie Mullins' personal number on speed dial then it's all just a charade of guesswork and conjecture trying to get a slightly better price than you'd get on the day anyway.
Most ante-post bets will go into the bin without the horse even running. The bookies must love it; offering crap odds on races where the horse probably won't even run..I reckon ante-post is one of their higher margin products.
