Not nearly as much as I thought, I think this seasons introduction of var killed a lot of the enjoyment watching football normally brought. Added to that I think there is a huge amount of greed involved in the modern game right now, I can't watch sky for more than two minutes without getting angry that some one or other, quite often former rs players, claiming the league HAS to finish when in reality it's way way down on the list of things that has to happen in the world at the moment.
Even fallen out of love with playing Sunday league a bit this season, the results becoming the most important aspect of it to most when quite frankly at that level it shouldn't, and the social aspect of it steadily decreasing all the time, just train, play, train, play. We were in a great position to get promoted with five games to play. A suggestion being made now is run the five games off quick and then straight into the new season. A laughable suggestion to me anyway as my focus will definitely be on going to visit family and friends when this lockdown is over not Sunday league football.
Delighted to have gotten in two brilliant trips to Liverpool before this all happened, one a great couple days with mates the other with family, that's the side of it I do miss, even though both games resulted in heartbreak, Everton that.
Really looking to watching the blues again and all the emotion that goes with it but surely it's got to be in the presence of supporters and when it's properly safe to do so, we're not in that much of a rush, or are they ?
