Dude went off on me how everyone gave their blood sweat and tears to this club and I insulted them and on and on. How he followed them his whole life and couldn't do with out them
Now he's indifferent football is gone.
How things change in a couple of weeks when this guy was just talking about years of pain and suffering over a football team.

Like you, I miss going to the football and the social aspect of the game (the camaraderie and emotional ride), but I'm not actually missing watching football.Well, I miss the pre and post match pints, I miss the chants and banter, I miss the travelling to away matches and I miss the comradery. The actual football? Much less so I'm afraid. Certainly don't miss the corruption of the FA's, Uefa, Fifa. Same goes for the media and their complete biased love for the money driven elite clubs. I even don't miss the VAR!
I feel the same although I think the first time I go back to Gooidson, which may well be a fair time off, the love will flow quite quickly again.Football has gone right out of my head.
I find it hard to credit the amount of emotional effort and material wealth I've spent on this pastime over the years.
