It might seem an odd place to look for our potential transfer budget but our profit and loss suggests it won't be a great deal, perhaps a few million. So essentially Lescott is being sold to fund incomings.

Without him we might go for a Naughton sized transfer as our one for the summer, together with the younger players we've signed for free.

Agree 1000%. He was ok with Rangers. Never worth more than a couple of million. And I believe there was a report in the Belfast Telegraph a while backing hinting at a coke problem...well, with an *injury* plagued London based player. Just on the off chance I wouldn't touch him with a shitty stick.

Too right. The games he played in last season he got embarrassed. Just shows how much of a difference there actually is between the English and Scottish top tier. Best player in Scotland to a very very average right back in England.
