Help with Starting 11

I know everyone is sick of the Arshavin threads, as i think we all know he is not coming, but if have a quick "what if" question. Just say he did sign, im wondering where do you think Moyes would have played him. Like i said i know HE ISNT so there isnt any truth to this thread but i think its interesting. If you play him on the wing, either Pienaar or Arteta would have to drop back to the bench. Or you play him behind the Yak and therefore Cahill would miss out. The only other thing is if you move Arteta into centre field, push Arshavin out wide and either Osman or Fernandes would miss out. This is providiing Moyes would have stuck with a 4-5-1 formation. Opinions?

Plus it is'nt about a starting 11 any more. Its about a big squad with quality right through it. Plus you have a lot of injurys an suspentions throught he season so plenty of cover is needed.

I think we have reached the stage where everyone we could have possibly been linked to we have, now the panic will really kick in!

Expect Moyesys and Rounds contracts to be signed in the next couple of days together, you heard it here first!

Moyesy is back at Finch today, and preseason starts tomorow!

my favourite (with arshavin and manny) would still be 532 with wing backs giving the width,jags and cahill pushing into the space in front of them when needed to.

to me this formation is very flexible , you can fill the defence , crowd the midfeild or swamp the attack in an instant.

Although come to think of it, if I was him I couldn't be arsed being a bit-part player in Barcelona or at Chelsea when I know that the mighty Everton would appreciate me so much more.

And as for signing for Newcastle. Why anyone in their right mind would go there unless desperate for a fat pay check is beyond me.

But could we afford to pay his £60k a week paycheck?
