i love arteta but in terms of benefit for the team i think navas, who is a proper winger, would be more valuable than Arteta who is a centre mid playing on the wing
Plus youve got to look at the ages of the two players, and the value....surely Navas is valued more highly than Arteta, which would make it a good deal for us

You'll probably get our best winger, in return. His names Victor Anichebe, he's a nigerian with incredible speed, strength and ball control. He's not got the best shot on him but ferguson and wenger both consider him one of the most promising young players in Europe.

This. It seems like Arteta is pretty set on going back to Spain, either for the sake of his young family or his international future. He's been more than loyal to us by extending his deal. Staying when he would have preferred to have gone back to his home country would explain his form this season. We owe him the move, if that's what he really wants. The big question mark would be how would Navas settle in England. If his mental state deteriorates being away from Seville, his value would quickly plummet and we'd be forced to offload him.

Why are people believing this? They have had interest off Real Madrid for him. Not only that but he is severely home sick, so bad there have been times when he hasnt been able to go on a pre season tour. He would never be able to move clubs, and if he did it would be a major club in Spain.
