Last season Southampton wanted 40m for Dibling......we offered 27m...

They rejected it....

We bent over and ended up offering the 40m....Looks an expensive mistake at this point.....

we should be prudent in the transfer market, we dont have alot of money to spend like other clubs do....

Hackney, at this point, is a Championship player....and only has 1 year left on his contract...
I would prefer we dont bend over again for a Championship club...

You’re too emotional. We should always try to get players for as low as possible. I would be extremely disappointed if our first offer is accepted because it priceless we’re overpaying.

I see plenty of faults in the manger mate and didn’t want him back and can’t wait till he’s gone. And the club, well it’s new owners, new committee, recruitment team, new people running the academy. Tait has already gone from the club.

Well if we are the only club interested it wont be easy but I am sure we can still create a bidding war and stretch this out until around August 31st...at which point he will arrive overweight, nursing an injury and will sit on the bench until December because he didnt have a proper preseason...it is the Everton way.

We’ve made a first offer a couple days ago and they rejected it

Nobody else has offered anything

It was a very sarcastic posting and neither do I believe it to be true or want it to be true...pretty sure Spurs have way deeper pockers than us and a new manager. I shall try harder or post less

Good grief, we are in negotiations for him, player said he wants us. Sky sports acting as if they know what's going on, when they had no idea when the story broke, few hours later.... offer rejected, offer well below asking price.

We have over paid countless times over the years, how about letting the committee do their job, instead of some lunatic Iranian man come charging in offering millions over an acceptable price
