Gibson was good for us when we first signed him. We went unbeaten I think it was for something like 20 odd games when he played.

Injuries take their toll so I'm not sure now, but don't plan to go down just yet.

Oviedo was also not bad before his injury. Seems to be a bit scared of getting hurt now from what I can see, I think he's lost a bit of pace too.

Good luck.

if you can get Gibson fitted for some sort of breathalyser collar he'll be your best midfielder. Kirchoff is more of a destroyer, right? The two of them ought to work well together.

Gibson has a fine range of passing, but comes with baggage. Look up the petrol station incident.
Oviedo was a bit of a cult hero but broke his leg. Was a good player on his day.

Gibson is a good player when fit and not pissed!!! Oviedo was good before he got injured!!! I think either Gibson will get your squad bladded every weekend or Oviedo may do a half decent job

Gibbo just been on telly saying he is fit but not match fit.

Will have a few good games and then will be out on the lash with the mackems which will then result in injury and you don't see him again for a few years if at all apart from maybe on crime watch or in the papers.

That seems to be the way he rolls.

We have one more you forgot about in case defoe gets injured......

Keep/get Gibson fit and he is decent, a very good range of passing
Oviedo is a very honest player nothing much more than that though..

Anyway good luck I hope you lot stay up this season

Will Gibson and Oviedo do a decent job or just more reason to start planning championship journeys??
For what you've paid, you should get good honest service from Oviedo at the very least. He was boss when he first joined but was cruelly stopped in his tracks with a really bad leg break. Gibson may turn out to be good value too, but he can't string a run of games together. He's known to 'like a drink', which is probably a contributing factor to his overall suspect fitness. Reckon he might see the challenge in helping you stay up though, maybe put a ten-game run together and show what he can actually do (before spending the summer ratted and sitting on your treatment table for the next five years, obviously...) ;)
